Regional champions! "How 'bout that ride in!"

There is no better rewards for winning a regional championship than a ride into town on a fire truck and some yummy ice cream from the Dairy Ripple! Well, maybe two "sweet" regional championship plaques would end up at the top of the list!
Both the GPHS boys and girls ball teams clinched regional championships on Saturday, May 22. The boys beat Liberty (who had been us twice before) by a score of 11-1! The girls also beat a team who had beaten us, North Greene. The girls came back from a 3-1 deficit in the seventh-inning to win 4-1 in the bottom of the seventh!
Congratulation Tornadoes and Lady Tornadoes and good luck in the sectional competition!
