* Board meeting call to order 7 pm . All members present except Mountain.
* Consent Agenda Kunzeman/Whitaker - item 4 (Class of 2017 Senior Trip removed from agenda).
* Resolution providing for the issue of approximately $2,180,000 General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2016, of the District for the purpose of refunding certain outstanding bonds of the District, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds, and authorizing the execution of a Bond Purchase Agreement
with D. A. Davidson & Co., Des Moines, Iowa, in connection with the sale of said Bonds. Kunzeman/B. Dehart

* Resolution authorizing and directing the execution of an Escrow Agreement in connection with the issue of General Obligation Refunding School Bonds, Series 2016, of the District. McCarter/M. Dehart
* Bonds refinanced with a new interest rate of 2.95%, a gross savings (over the life of the bonds) of $212,241, and an overall reduction in repayment of 4 years.
* Closed session for (1) Personnel, (10) Matters involving individual students & (14) minutes of closed session at 7:02 pm. M. Dehart/B. Dehart
* Motion to come out of closed session at 7:44 pm Whitaker/M. Dehart
* Policy updates - 1st read - no action
* HS Traditional Schedule vs. Block Schedule - discussion item. Scheduling will be a discussion item again in December and a vote in January.
* Inner State Studios will be used as the district photographer for the 2017-2018 school year.
* Work on the elementary gym roof should begin within the next few days.
* 2016 Tax Levy (same information that was presented last year). Kunzeman/Whitaker
* Zach and Brian Baker approved as volunteer high school baseball assistant coaches. M. Dehart/Kunzeman
* Nicole Bowen hired as teacher (elementary special education). Whitaker/B. Dehart
* Cody Freeman hired as high school baseball coach. McCarter/Whitaker
* Ashley Scranton approved as volunteer assistant junior high volleyball coach. Kunzeman/M. Dehart
* Courtney Sargeant approved as volunteer assistant high school softball coach. B. Dehart/Kunzeman
* Garrett White hired as junior high track coach. McCarter/Whitaker
* Resignation agreement between J. Wimsett and GPCUSD #4 approved. Whitaker/Kunzeman
* Joe Butler hired as high school softball coach. McCarter/B. Dehart
