October 21-24 Lesson Plans

Remember, this Friday we have no school for parent-teacher conferences

A1-Media Literacy

    Monday- Review writing from last Wednesday's assignment, study for Chapter 3 test (review game, study guide), write reflective piece on the digital gaming development

    Wednesday- Chapter 3 test

A3-AP Language and Composition

    Monday- Student analyze their use of commentary in past essays they've written, give the class a "Before and After" presentation of their revised essay paragraphs. Remainder of time is used to revise their rhetorical analysis essay.

    Wednesday- First rhetorical analysis timed writing of the year. Begin our introduction to rhetorical fallacies and fallacy flashcards following the writing.

    Due Friday on Google Classroom: Rhetorical Precis #8

A4- Yearbook

    Monday- Our first major marketing push of 2019, wherein we call potential ad buyers to set up face-to-face meetings with them.

    Wednesday- One of our students will be out on Wednesday selling ads in-person. The remainder of the class will continue with our cold-calling.

    Thursday: Three of the four students will be out in the afternoon with Mr. C to meet face-to-face with potential buyers.

B1-Graphic Design

    Tuesday- Work on VR project

    Thursday- Work on VR project

B2-Computer Applications

    Tuesday- Begin MS Powerpoint

    Thursday- Continue with MS Powerpoint

B4-Computer Science

    Tuesday- Show off our HTML/CSS sites, begin JavaScript blocks

    Thursday- Continue JavaScript blocks
