Andrew Crivilare is a computers and English teacher at Griggsville-Perry High School where he also serves as website coordinator and yearbook advisor. Since joining the Tornadoes in 2016, Andrew has advised on the creation and design of over 500 pages of student-published content. Andrew's efforts as an advisor were recognized in 2018 by the Illinois Journalism Education Association in conjunction with Griggsville-Perry student Bailey Scoggins being named an Illinois All-State Journalist.
In 2018 Andrew proposed and taught the first Advance Placement course at Griggsville-Perry, which lead to students earning college credit in English Language and Composition. Beyond that, Andrew started classes in computer science, video production, and science fiction.
Andrew is a 2013 graduate of Eastern Illinois University's English program, where he met his wife Heather. In 2022, Andrew completed training with the National Center on Education and the Economy's Executive Development Program. He is currently enrolled at Western Illinois University and is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Education Leadership.
Andrew is a Chicago native raised in Effingham, Illinois. He currently lives in Jacksonville with his wife Heather and daughter Rita.
