Jessica Jones is first grade teacher at Griggsville-Perry Elementary where she also serves as the PTO Treasurer and heads the Griggsville Christmas Kids Program. Since joining the Tornadoes in 2011, Jessica has taught in both special education and general education classrooms.
Jessica participated with other school staff in the National Institute for Student Leaders hosted by the Tracey Family Foundation. Through this program, members worked to create a plan for improving leadership and build school climate and culture. As a result, she and her cohort were able to attend the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, GA.
Jessica is a 2009 graduate of Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO. She is a native of Quincy, IL. Jessica moved to Pike County after starting her teaching career at Griggsville-Perry. Jessica married her husband in 2017, and they live in Griggsville with their two dachshunds. They enjoy camping with family and traveling. Jessica enjoys writing and reading in her spare time.
