Elementary & High School Principal

Jillian Theis is the principal of Griggsville-Perry Elementary and High School. This is her seventh year serving in this role. Mrs. Theis spends her days wearing many hats-- visiting classrooms, helping with lunch duty and working with teachers. Her favorite part of the day is spending time with her students.

Mrs. Theis is a 2006 graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a Master’s Degree from University of Illinois at Springfield in teacher leadership where she earned her administrative license. She taught middle school science, sixth grade and second grade for eleven years before transitioning to principal at Griggsville-Perry.

Mrs. Theis resides in Mt. Sterling, Illinois with her husband, Nathan, and children, Jace and Isabelle.
