Holly Gresham is a first grade teacher at Griggsville-Perry Elementary where she has taught first grade for 24 years. Holly participated with other colleagues in the National Institute for School Leaders funded by the Tracey Family Foundation. Through this program, the cohort worked to create a plan to improve leadership, climate and culture within the school district. Following completion of the program, Holly and her cohort were able to attend The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, GA. She has also participated in an intensive week-long Orton-Gillingham training. This training focused on techniques of direct instruction, phonetic rules and word attack strategies. The training helps beginning readers learn and understand and develop important literacy skills. 

Holly grew up in Griggsville and attended Griggsville School through her senior year.  After high school she attended John Wood Community College and Western Illinois University. Early in her career she worked in early childhood education.  

She now resides in rural Pittsfield with her husband and black lab Roxy. For many years, Holly and her family have enjoyed their time at the Ozarks. Holly and her family are new owners of Aqua Toys Boat Rentals at Lake of the Ozarks.
