Lady Tornadoes ready for 2010 seaon
The Lady Tornadoes are ready to hit the court this season with a brand new look. Not only will they be sporting new uniforms but the Lady T's also have a new coach, Katlyn Hull, former GPHS volleyball standout, will be at the helm this season.
This year's seniors are bringing experience to the court along with a lot of athletic ability. Tornado seniors include: Lexi DeSpain, Lacy Emrick, Rhea Hobson, Alex Moore, Jenni Warren and April Bolton. The juniors will also be adding a spark to the team as Marlee Bradshaw, who saw a large amount of varsity court time last year, will be bringing power to the net along with Taylor Crawford, Kyra Kessinger, Morgan Deeder and Jenna Gresham, who is back on the court this year after sitting out her sophomore year.
Sophomore, Lindsey Hobson, is also likely to see a lot of playing time at the varsity level this year as her agility will add to the defense of the Lady T's. McKenzie Vose, a setter for the junior varsity, will likely step in to give varsity setter, Alex Moore, a break while fellow sophomore, McKinsey Vinyard, will likely be used defensively due to her quickness.
