Jamie Kelley is a second grade teacher at Griggsville-Perry Elementary where she also serves as the Teacher-Mentor Coordinator for the district.  She has been with the district for 15 years.  Before coming to GP, she taught at Payson Seymour Elementary for 12 years.  

In 1995, Jamie graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  She obtained her certification in Elementary Education a year later to broaden the grades she could teach.  She thoroughly enjoys the second and third grade years.

Jamie grew up in Griggsville, graduating from GHS in 1991.  She enjoys teaching in the same room where she attended second grade and loves the hometown feel of GP.  She lives with her husband, John, and they have two children, Ryan and Jenna.
